Hi, I’m Emma Wild — founder of Sensory Smarts and a paediatric physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting babies, toddlers, and their families.
I’ve spent my career helping parents understand their child’s development in a way that’s clear, practical, and encouraging. Through my in-person classes and now The Baby Development Toolkit, I’ve guided hundreds of families to feel confident in recognising milestones, encouraging growth, and enjoying playful connection.
I know from both my professional background and my own parenting journey that raising a little one can feel overwhelming at times. There’s so much information out there — but not all of it is easy to apply in everyday life. That’s why I created Sensory Smarts: to give you simple, science-backed activities and milestone guides you can use anywhere, anytime.
Whether you’re supporting your first newborn or chasing after a busy toddler, my goal is to help you feel confident, connected, and calm as you guide your child through their most important early years.
